Monday Evening First To Know Prediction

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — We’ll continue to have scattered showers, rain, and a few thunderstorms moving east-northeast across the Big Bend and tri-state areas, with scattered rain affecting communities in southern Georgia tonight before it tapers off later tonight. Many areas will see a clearing trend following the remnants of overnight rain activity. Lows will be in the mid 70s with a fair amount of moisture and muggy conditions continuing.

The thunderstorm and rain cycle will pick up again Tuesday afternoon. A mix of sun and clouds will support the buildup of rainy patches by midday, which will develop into scattered to numerous showers and storms during the afternoon, moving primarily north-northeast. Highs will still be in the low 90s, with a few mid 90s for locations that happen to miss out on clouds and rain.

Deep moisture will continue to be over our area later this week, adding to the rain coverage on Wednesday and Thursday. Sunshine will be limited at times and downpours should bring some serious drenching. Highs during that time will be limited to the upper 80s and lower 90s. Some sunshine is expected on Friday and beyond, with daily storm chances.
