Baba Kalyani dispute: Hiremath siblings seek mediation; court allows it – Industry News

The Pune court on Monday accepted the Hiremath siblings’ plea for mediation to resolve their dispute with uncle Baba N Kalyani over the distribution of family properties among the Kalyani Hindu Undivided Family (HUF).

The court granted the Hiremath brothers’ request and gave them 60 days to mediate and resolve the dispute.

The Children of Bharat Forge Chairman Baba Kalyani’s sister Sugandha Hiremath’s – Sameer Hiremath and Pallavi Hiremath-Swadi – had filed a suit seeking to divide the assets within the Kalyani HUF, seeking one-ninth share in all the assets. They had requested the Pune civil court to freeze the HUF’s assets, worth `65,000-70,000 crore, and to restrain Kalyani and other senior members of the family from selling any properties.
