Lane closures planned for Highway 351 in Jonesboro

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — On Highway 351, crews begin closing lanes on Old Greensboro Road, from Peachtree Avenue to the Craighead/Greene County line.

From tomorrow, the work will only be carried out on weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., ARDOT said.

The work is expected to take almost four weeks.

Unless weather conditions interfere, approximately seven miles of Highway 351 will be graded and asphalt repairs will be completed in the area.

This will take place on weeknights from 7pm to 6am, for approximately two weeks.

It will take approximately 6 weeks in total to repair, level and eventually add the new asphalt. The expected delivery period is early September.

Traffic is regulated by means of information boards, traffic cones and signage.
