Colorado Breweries Win Big At 2024 US Open Beer Championship

, Colorado Breweries Win Big At 2024 US Open Beer ChampionshipThe 2024 US Open Beer Championship just wrapped up in Ohio and they’ve announced this year’s winners and the breweries judged to be the best in America.

This competition is the only one to include beers from professional breweries as well as beers from gold medal winners from the 2021 National AHA Homebrew Competition. Judging in the beer championships is blind; judges know only the categories, not the names or locations of beers being judged.

Breweries from Luxembourg to Louisiana sent in more than 9,000 beers representing over 150 different styles for the 2024 US Open Beer Championship.

And several Colorado craft breweries took home Gold, Silver and Bronze medals this year.

Colorado brewers scored  39 wins overall according to the Colorado Hometown Weekly, including nine Gold medals, 18 Silver and 11 Bronze.
