The Highlands and Islands Young Piper of the Year was held on Thursday 18th July at Sgoil Lionacleit on Benbecula. The overall winner was Austin Diepenhorst from San Diego. The judges were Sir Patrick Grant, Michael Grey and Dr. Angus MacDonald.
