‘Clue’ is now a real life game in Boston. Can you solve the mystery?

If you’ve ever played the board game “Clue,” you know it’s a game where players have to solve a murder through deduction, and great detective work.

Now, the board game is coming to life at an event in Boston called, “CLUE: A Walking Mystery,” and it’ll be around for a while, so there will be plenty of chances to take part in the family-friendly event .

Can I play Clue in real life in Boston?

Right Angle Entertainment is presenting “CLUE: A Walking Mystery,” which is an interactive and experience that brings the game to life. The real-life game starts at Quincy Market and explores surrounding locales, prompting players to solve the mystery of who killed ” estate owner” Mr. Boddy.

Guests will portray the descendants of the original “Clue” game, with familiar last names – Mayor Green, Colonel Mustard, Solicitor Peacock, Professor Plum, Miss Scarlett and Chef White.

“The streets and landmarks of Boston become the playing field as the detectives visit various destinations to solve the mystery of who murdered…Mr. Boddy,” according to a release from Right Angle Entertainment.

What’s the scenario of the game?

“The case has gone cold, with the murderer still at large. All the furniture from Tudor Mansion has been auctioned off and scattered throughout downtown Boston. Determined to finally catch the culprit, the newly minted detectives are greeted by Mr. Boddy’s faithful Butler and instructed to search for clues that can be found in the furniture formerly housed in the iconic rooms of the historic Tudor Mansion (the Library, the Billiard Room, the Ballroom, etc.), now dispersed throughout the city,” Right Angle Entertainment said.

“Once the furniture is located, players must solve an interactive puzzle in search of secret compartments to discover the clue left behind by the culprit. Piecing these clues together will challenge players to be the first group to figure out who did it, where and with what?”

Where in Boston does the game take place?

The game takes place throughout multiple locations in Boston, beginning at Faneuil Hall at Quincy Market and continuing at various locations throughout the neighborhood.

How long will the game be available for?

It started at the end of June and is running through September. 8.
