Little Rock VA Virtual Claims Clinic for Veterans This Week

Attention Arkansas Veterans, our monthly virtual VA Claims Clinic is back on Thursdays. If you need information about your claim or would like to schedule an appointment, the links and numbers you need are below.

Date and time: Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

Event details: Arkansas Veterans are invited to attend Little Rock VA’s Virtual Claims Clinic. During this event, veterans will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Little Rock VA Regional Office staff who are available to assist with specific questions about VA benefits claims.

How to participate: Veterans wishing to reserve a time slot can call 501-370-3829 before closing time on Wednesday, July 24.

Background information: Jay Mergenschroer, Public Affairs Officer, emphasized the office’s commitment to reaching veterans throughout Arkansas, including those in rural areas.

“In addition to Little Rock and the surrounding areas, our commitment is to serve the diverse population in rural Arkansas. We are working to reach out to these veterans, along with those who may not be able to reach us through other means,” he said.

The Little Rock VA Regional Office, located at 2200 Fort Roots Drive in North Little Rock, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Veteran Assist Phone Line is 501-370-3829This line is manned Monday through Friday, from 7am to 5pm.

The Little Rock VA Regional Office also has two satellite offices:

  • John L. McClellan VA Medical CenterRoom 1C-151B, 4300 West Seventh St., Little Rock. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Eugene J. Towbin VA Health Care CenterRoom 1C-149, Building 170, 2200 Fort Roots Dr., North Little Rock. Open Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

VA Regional Offices provide financial and other assistance to veterans and their dependents, including disability compensation, survivors’ benefits, retirement and fiduciary services, education and training, vocational rehabilitation and employment assistance, life insurance coverage, and mortgage guarantees. VA Disability Compensation provides a monthly tax-free payment to veterans who have become ill or injured while serving in the military or whose service aggravated an existing condition.

During the upcoming Virtual Claims Clinic, staff will answer questions about PACT Act benefits and existing VA benefit claims, as well as help you file new claims.
