Seaport Hotel staff picket, call for boycott – NBC Boston

Workers at the Seaport Hotel, owned by Fidelity Investments, took to the streets to announce a boycott, urging customers to avoid the destination until their union is recognized.

The Seaport Hotel banquet and convention workers held their union elections a year ago. According to union officials, the hotel ownership refused to negotiate a contract or recognize the labor movement. Instead, Fidelity executives filed a federal lawsuit to block negotiations.
