Carrie Underwood received a warm welcome in Hawaii ahead of her two sold-out shows in the Aloha State.

Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi and state Director of Business, Economic Development and Tourism James Tokoika declared July 18 “Carrie Underwood Day” in honor of the Grammy winner.

The 41-year-old singer, whose Nashville mansion was damaged by a small fire, was the first artist in the state’s 65-year history to receive simultaneous awards.

“With sincere aloha, we thank her for bringing her live show to Hawaii and fulfilling the dreams of thousands of fans who have been eagerly awaiting this opportunity,” said Mayor Blangiardi.

‘Carrie Underwood embodies the aloha spirit through her talent, love, and genuine care and compassion for others.’

Her long, blonde hair was styled loosely and her makeup looked natural with a soft purple lipstick.

The Love Wins singer was also honored with a flower crown.

Underwood first announced she would perform at Blaisdell Arena in March.

The show sold out in an hour and a second night was quickly added, with fans rushing to get tickets.
