DOVER – MOT left no doubt that it is the team to beat in the Intermediate Baseball East Regional this morning.

The Middletown team went 11-0 to remain undefeated over Pennsylvania and advance to the Eastern Championship Finals.

MOT is now 4-0 and will play the Dover Little League finals on Thursday at 9 a.m. If the Kent County team loses, a second title game will be played at noon.

The champion of the East earns a trip to the Intermediate World Series in Livermore, California.

In today’s win, Mason Guth allowed just two hits with eight strikeouts in five and a third innings. Kai Johnson went 3-for-3 with a two-run single in MOT’s six-run fifth inning.

Keystone, Pa. is now 3-1 and will play in the losers bracket finals on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
