SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KTXL) – Ahead of the team’s first practice of training camp this week in Santa Clara, 49ers general managers John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan provide an update on the health of the roster heading into the first days of camp, an update on the tense negotiations with Brandon Aiyuk, their confidence in a contract extension and the fact that their talented receiver is reporting to training camp amid his request to be traded.

The NFL Network reported that Aiyuk would report to training camp, with first-team practice scheduled for Wednesday morning.
