List of attendees at Grill in the Ville’s Florida Gators BBQ

The Florida Gators will host their annual Grill in the Ville barbecue event on Saturday, as it is the last major recruiting event of the summer.

Billy Napier and his team have welcomed many big names to campus this summer, and on Saturday they are hosting a more low-key event with some of those candidates.

Past reviews have been very positive, as potential participants and their families find it a relaxed event where they can get to know the coaches better.

2025 prospects to visit

Receiver Naeshaun Montgomery was in Gainesville on Thursday and will return for the event on Saturday. Montgomery plans to announce a decision in August and the Gators are moving in the right direction for him. Montgomery is someone the Gators would like to pair with Vernell Brown III and Joshua Moore.

Linebacker Ty Jackson is one of the top targets left on the board for the Gators, as Florida really likes Jackson’s game. Alabama, Florida State and Georgia are all in the mix, and Jackson plans to let his recruitment play out.

Defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou plans to travel down from Grayson, Georgia, on Saturday for his first visit. Mbatchou is a man who climbs some boards, having recently moved to the U.S.

Georgia Tech defensive line commit Derry Norris plans to be in Gainesville for the first time this weekend. Norris has an offer from Florida, but he committed to Georgia Tech before visiting UF.

East Mississippi JUCO defensive line teammates Rashod Bradley and Zavion Hardy are both expected to visit Florida this weekend. Hardy is one of the top JUCO prospects in the country and someone the Gators have been recruiting for over two years now. Bradley is someone the Gators are evaluating and hope to get a closer look at this weekend.

Goals for 2026 to visit

While this event is big for the Class of 2025, it’s also a great opportunity to get a head start on the 2026 class. Florida is hosting several 2026 prospects on campus this weekend. The following guys are expected in town.
