Avelo Airlines to open new door between MoBay and Connecticut in November

Avelo Airlines will launch its first scheduled international route between Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay; and Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Connecticut, United States. The flights will begin on November 16 and marks the largest expansion in the airlines history.

According to Andrew Levy, Avelo Airlines founder and chief executive officer, the airline, an American ultra-low-cost airline with its headquarters in Houston, Texas, will be the only airline offering non-stop service between Montego Bay and the capital region of Connecticut.

“We are proud to announce new non-stop service between Montego Bay and Hartford, Connecticut, as we introduce a new era of convenient, affordable and reliable travel in Jamaica,” said Levy. “This new service will make visiting Connecticut’s capital region an easy and affordable experience. We also look forward to making Montego Bay’s famous beaches, as well as its vibrant energy and laid-back charm, easier than ever for Connecticut travelers to enjoy.”
