Augusta University Golf Completes Renovation of J. Fleming Norvell Golf House

AUGUSTA, GA – Augusta University Athletics has announced the completion of a year-long renovation and overhaul of the J. Fleming Norvell Golf House. The facility serves as home to the reigning Southland Conference Champion men’s and women’s golf programs.

The renovation project included the addition of new furniture, flooring, fresh paint and an extensive branding update. A key feature of the renovation is a hand-painted mural by artist Jason Craig, dedicated to the 2010 and 2011 national championship teams

“We are incredibly excited about the new mural design in the Golf House,” said women’s golf head coach Ember Holloway. “Augusta and its supporters are constantly looking to improve and provide for their programs. We believe the added designs will make this Golf House a home for our student-athletes.”

The renovated J. Fleming Norvell Golf House is now one of the premier practice facilities in college golf. The 4,000-square-foot clubhouse is located adjacent to Forest Hills Golf Club and features three offices, a conference room, locker rooms, a kitchenette, a reception/meeting room and computerized practice facilities. The renovation enhances the functionality of the facility and strengthens Augusta University’s reputation as a premier destination for college golf.
