As I listened to Kelly Clarkson say “That’s so cool” for the 4,000th time at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, I started to wonder what the 2028 Olympics would look like if they were held in Connecticut instead of Los Angeles.

In my fantasy, the Olympic Games would be held all over the country and I tried to think of something that would represent us best, just as they showed France’s best side during this 5-hour spectacle.

What would the Olympics be like if they were held in Connecticut?
