Man Arrested in Fayette County After Hit-and-run Crash

(Fayette County, IA) — A man has been arrested and is facing charges following a hit-and-run earlier this month.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on July 9 when an SUV rear-ended a car driven by Andrea Rue of West Union, who was injured in the crash, though not seriously. An investigation identified Jackson Wedo of Postville as the suspect, accused of driving the SUV.

Wedo has been arrested and is being charged.
