32 arrests, 2,875 bags of fentanyl seized in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Dozens of people have been arrested and a significant amount of drugs seized after a week-long operation in Hartford.

The initiative, which included Hartford police, state police and the FBI, targeted areas where residents had complained about illegal activity.


According to Hartford police, teams executed a total of 11 search warrants, arrested 32 individuals and served 14 arrest warrants.

Police seized $23,240, 24 firearms (including ghost rifles), 156 grams of fentanyl, 2,875 bags of fentanyl, 500 fentanyl pills, 11 grams of cocaine, 188 grams of crack cocaine, 16 grams of MDMA, 14 pounds of marijuana and 166 OxyContin pills.
