Where to Pick Sunflowers and Zinnias at an Indiana Orchard – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Saturday and Sunday are the last chances to pick sunflowers this season at Beasley’s Orchard.

Organizers say that for just $8, visitors can enter the fields and take home a stalk. Tickets can be purchased online or in person. Children under 2 get in free.

According to the organizers, there is nothing quite like a walk through a field of sunflowers.

Jim Finley, agritourism manager for the orchard, told News 8 on Friday, “What makes the sunflowers so cool is that it’s 17 acres of beautiful, blooming sunflowers. I don’t know if people realize it, but 17 acres is a big field and it’s just a sea of endless, beautiful yellow flowers.”

“And it just gives you that summer feeling when you’re lost in a field of sunflowers. It’s, you know, hard to find anywhere else.”

Beasley’s is open on Saturdays from 9am to 8:30pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 6pm.

This weekend visitors can also pick their own zinnias.
