2024 LIV Golf UK: Round 2 tee times and combinations examined

Jon Rahm’s quest for victory at LIV Golf may finally be at an end! With the first round of LIV Golf UK concluding on Thursday, the Legion XIII Captain made eight birdies and was completely bogey-free to finish 8-under, two strokes ahead of Andy Ogletree and Fireballs GC member Abraham Ancer.

His teammate, Tyrrell Hatton, is in fourth place with Cameron Smith. However, the other two members, Kieran Vincent and Caleb Surratt, are far down the leaderboard (T29 and T51). To set the whole team up for a huge win, the latter two need to get ready in the second round!

The Friday round will follow the same unique pairing pattern

LIV Golf Communications recently took to their official X (formerly Twitter) account and shared the pairings for Friday’s round of the championship at JCB Golf and Country Club. The round will see the shotgun start of the competition at 2:15 p.m. ET. Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm will lead off the field with Abraham Ancer and Andy Ogletree.

Following them is Rahms teammate Tyrrell Hatton, paired with Louis Oosthuizen, and Cameron Smith, who are following the same innovative group format. The final pair to tee off at the JCB Golf and Country Club is Pat Perez paired with another member of the leading team, Caleb Surratt, and they also have Branden Grace alongside them.

The 155-yard, par-3 hole 14 was a fairly easy hole for the players at the golf club at Uttoxeter. From Smash GC captain Brooks Koepka to Ripper GC captain Joaquin Niemann, almost every player birdied the hole. The second round, which starts in an hour, will feature much more action.
