Daniel MacPherson shares candid details about his blossoming romance with Jessica Dover as he returns to theatre life in Sydney

Daniel MacPherson recently shared some heartwarming updates about his relationship with former WAG and House Rules star Jessica Dover.

It seems like their romance is blossoming and the actor is very happy about it.

MacPherson, who is best known for his role in *Neighbours*, expressed how much he appreciates Jessica’s unconditional support.

He talked about how challenging his career can be, especially with the constant touring.

“There are a lot of great things in my life, and Jess is definitely one of them. We really support each other,” he told *The Daily Telegraph*.

He acknowledged how hard it is for everyone involved, saying: “Touring is hard on family and partners.”

Back home and on stage

MacPherson returns to his roots in Sydney and is looking forward to starring opposite John Waters in the play *The Woman in Black*.

After years on the road, he is happy to be back home and reconnect with family and friends.

“A lot of my career was spent outside of Sydney and it was hard to stay close to everyone,” he said.

Now he is looking forward to performing in a show that has been a fixture in London’s West End for 30 years, with its Sydney premiere scheduled for Tuesday at the Theatre Royal.

Romance in the spotlight

Daniel and Jessica went public with their relationship in April last year. Daniel posted a message on Instagram showing Jessica celebrating his birthday.

The couple had sparked rumours of a romance when they were spotted together at the races.

Jessica confirmed their relationship by posting photos on Instagram with a sweet birthday wish for Daniel.

“Happy Birthday @danmacpherson. I love you,” she wrote, and Daniel responded by sharing her post and adding a photo of Jessica by the ocean with the caption, “Birthday visitor.”

Moving on and looking ahead

This new chapter comes two years after Daniel’s split from actress Zoe Ventoura in December 2020.

The former couple, who share a four-year-old son named Austin, announced their split with similar posts on Instagram, in which they revealed that they had decided to part ways amicably.
