ATP Atlanta best bets including Nishioka vs Rinderknech

ATP 250 Atlanta Semifinals

Shang – Thompson: 27.07.2024 21:00 CEST
H2H: 2-1

Juncheng Shang has won five matches in a row. Here in Atlanta, Shang fought through the qualifying tournament and reached the main draw. In the first round of the main draw, Shang defeated Martin in easy straight sets, losing only two games. In the 1/8 finals, Shang defeated Shelton in straight sets. It was one of the biggest victories in his young career. In the quarterfinals, Shang defeated Purcell in straight sets. He has not lost a set in the main draw yet. The Chinese teenager is one of the biggest young talents on the tour at the moment.

Jordan Thompson has won three of his last five matches. Three weeks ago at Wimbledon, Thompson lost in the second round of the tournament to Nakashima in five tough sets. Here in Atlanta, Jordan won his first match against Mayot in straight sets. Yesterday in the quarterfinals, Thompson defeated Davidovich Fokina after being on the court for three hours. Last year in Atlanta, Jordan lost in the first round to Nishikori in straight sets.

Best bet to make

According to the bookmakers, Shang is the slight favorite in this matchup. Jordan had a long and exhausting quarterfinal, so we think he will be tired against Shang tonight. On the other hand, Shang has shown great tennis throughout the tournament, so we think he will win again.

That being said, Winning Shang is a worthwhile bet.

Nishioka – Rinderknech: 28.07.2024 01:00 CEST
H2H: First Meeting

Yoshihito Nishioka has won four of his last five matches. Here in Atlanta, Nishioka performed well in the first round, beating Svajda in straight sets. Nishioka lost his serve only once, at the beginning of the first set. After that, Yoshihito served well and won in straight sets. In the second round, Nishioka played a great match, beating McDonald in straight sets. In the quarterfinals, Nishioka defeated Tiafoe in straight sets, as we predicted. Last year in Atlanta, Nishioka lost his second round match against Vukic in three exciting sets.

Arthur Rinderknech has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Newport, Arthur lost in the second round to Kovacevic in three exciting sets. Here in Atlanta, Rinderknech won his first round match against JJ Wolf in easy straight sets. Arthur served great and offered no break points. In the second round, Arthur defeated Walton in straight sets as we predicted. Yesterday in the quarterfinals, Rinderknech defeated Bellucci in three exciting sets as we predicted.

Best bet to make

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Rinderknech had a tough quarterfinal against Bellucci yesterday, so he will probably be exhausted for his semifinal. Nishioka had some great wins this week, so we believe he will continue his winning streak.

That being said, Nishioka’s win is a worthwhile bet.
