Two men injured in double shooting in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A double shooting early this morning in Hartford sent two men to the hospital, police said.

A report from a shot spotter alerted Hartford police officers to 202 Blue Hills Ave. minutes before 4:30 a.m., where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was immediately taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.


Further investigation revealed that a second man was shot in the same area and later arrived at a hospital in a private vehicle. Officials said he was in stable condition.

Authorities have not released the identities of the men, describing them only as being in their 20s. The department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions continue to investigate the shooting.
