Penticton Vees trade forward to Trail Smoke Eaters

The Penticton Vees have sent forward Attila Lippai to the Trail Smoke Eaters in exchange for future considerations, the clubs announced Friday, July 26.

Lippai, 19, scored nine goals and collected 18 points in 48 regular season games for Penticton in the 2023-24 season.

The St. Paul, MN native was a rookie in the BCHL last season and went on to play 17 playoff games for the Vees.

Lippai is committed to the University of St. Thomas for the 2025-2026 campaign.

“The Vees organization thanks Attila for his contributions to the team and wishes him the very best in his future endeavors with the Smoke Eaters,” the club said in a statement.
