Auburn Football adds commitment from 2026 LB JaMichael Garrett to Big Cat

AUBURN — Auburn football significantly bolstered its haul in the Class of 2026 during Big Cat Weekend.

After landing a pair of top-100 recruits earlier in the day in four-star edge Hezekiah Harris and four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle, the Tigers picked up a commitment from four-star linebacker JaMichael Garrett on Saturday. His addition gives Auburn five prospects committed in 2026, a cycle in which the Tigers now have the nation’s No. 1 class.

Garrett, listed as 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, is headed to Gulf Shores High School. He is rated the No. 119 overall player and the No. 11 linebacker in the Class of 2026 by the 247Sports Composite. He is also tabbed as the No. 7 player in the state.
