Brigade wins first match of Cowdin Cup championship series

The Junction City brigade defeated the Topeka Warhawks 8-6 in the opening game of the Cowdin Cup championship series Friday night at Rathert Field in Junction City.

Game two of the best two of three series is Saturday night in Topeka. If there is a game three, that is at 7:00 PM on Sunday at Rathert Field.

The Cowdin Cup goes to the champion of the Mid Plains League.
