Woman arrested for drunk driving after crash on Bedford toll roads – NBC Boston

A woman was arrested Friday night in Bedford, New Hampshire, after crashing into a toll booth.

Bedford Police report that they responded to a crash on the FE Everett Turnpike at the southbound turnpike around 5:07 p.m.

Authorities said that upon arrival they found a Ford Ranger that was heavily damaged.

According to police, the truck drove over a concrete barrier and then crashed into the concrete fence of a toll booth.

The driver, later identified as 39-year-old Jane Powell of Nashua, New Hampshire, got out of the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.

Powell was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and reckless endangerment.

One lane of the EZ Pass remains closed following the accident until it is reopened.
