USA Men Win Gold, Women Medal In Olympics Freestyle Swimming Relay Finals

The US Men’s Swimming Team won gold and the Women’s Swimming Team won silver during the 4×100-meter freestyle relay finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday (July 27).

The American men, comprised of Jack Alexy, Chris Guiliano, Hunter Armstrong anchored by eight-time Olympic gold medalist Caeleb Dressel, finished with a time of 3:09.28, less than a full second shy of their 3:08.24 4×100-meter Olympic record set at the 2008 Beijing Games. Australia took silver with a time of 3:10.35 and Italy bronze at 3:10.70.
