Nashville Sounds Announces 2025 Hometown Schedule – Clarksville Online

Nashville SoundsNashville, TN – In partnership with Minor League Baseball, the Nashville Sounds Baseball Club has announced its 2025 home schedule, complete with 75 games at First Horizon Park for the 2025 season.

The Sounds open the 2025 season on Friday, March 28 at First Horizon Park against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Miami Marlins). Nashville will host Opening Day at home for the first time since 2023. The opening series against the Jumbo Shrimp will be a three-game series. It will be the earliest Opening Day in the club’s 47-year history.

“We have 30 exciting events left to run this season through September,” said Sounds General Manager Adam English. “Our staff are already in the early stages of planning an exciting programme of promotions and entertainment for our fans in 2025.”



There will be a total of 12 homestands in the Hit City home game. From May 20-25, the Sounds will host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. It will be the first time since 1991 that Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and the Yankees’ Triple-A affiliate (then the Columbus Clippers) will play in Nashville. The Sounds were the Yankees’ Double-A affiliate from 1980-1984.

Major League affiliates from the region will make multiple trips to Nashville in 2025. In-state rival Memphis Redbirds (St. Louis Cardinals) come to town for a pair of series, April 8-13 and July 1-3. The Sounds also host the Gwinnett Stripers (Atlanta Braves) twice, June 3-8 and Sept. 3-14. Louisville (Cincinnati Reds) returns for a six-game series, Aug. 19-24.

Other opponents returning to Nashville include the Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays), Norfolk Tides (Baltimore Orioles), Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs), Indianapolis Indians (Pittsburgh Pirates) and Charlotte Knights (Chicago White Sox). The only teams not returning in 2025 after playing in Nashville in 2024 are the Omaha Storm Chasers (Kansas City Royals) and St. Paul Saints (Minnesota Twins).

The longest homestand of the season is 12 games over 13 days from Aug. 19-31. The Sounds will also have a nine-game homestand after the All-Star break from July 18-27.

The Sounds are at home on Mother’s Day (May 11) against Norfolk, Memorial Day weekend (May 24-25) against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Labor Day weekend (August 30-31) against Charlotte.

First Horizon Park will host 39 weekend games in 2025, 13 of which will be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

From Monday 5 August, you can renew your early bird season ticket for the full season (75 matches), half season (38 matches) and four different partial seasons (18 matches) of 2025.

The full promotion schedule for 2025 will be announced in early March 2025. Single match tickets can be purchased at least one month before the start of the season.

The Nashville Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers and play at First Horizon Park. Individual tickets are on sale now for all home games in 2024.
