Former Lakers star Lamar Odom posts legendary photo that went viral

Team USA begins the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where they face Nikola Jokic and Serbia on Sunday morning.

They have one of the best grids ever composed and are expected to take home the Gold Medal.

Former NBA player Lamar Odom was a member of Team USA during the 2004 competition Olympics in Greece.

He recently posted a message on X with a 2004 photo that also features LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Stephon Marbury, and Dwyane Wade.

His post went viral, receiving more than 26,000 likes and 5.3 million views.

Odom captioned the photo as follows: “What cuties!! GREECE Olympics 2004! Dang and Bron is still hoopin lol ✊🏽🇺🇸”

Despite the talented selection of the team (in 2004) they still won the bronze medal, which was a huge shame.

However, Team USA has won gold at every Olympic Games since that year (2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020).

As Odom notes, it’s impressive that James is still competing in the Olympics (20 years later).

Odom had an extremely successful NBA career that lasted 14 seasons.

He was selected fourth overall in the 1999 NBA Draft out of Rhode Island and played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Heat.

Odom is best known for his time with the Lakers, where he was a teammate of Kobe Bryant and won two NBA championships.
