Jefferson High School Alumni Association Holds its Community and Unity Event

BEECH ISLAND, SC (WJBF) — The Jefferson High School Alumni Association will host its Community and Unity event on Sunday, July 28 at 4 p.m. at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church in Beach Island.

Jefferson High, founded in 1956, served students from North Augusta, Belvedere, Langley Bath Clearwater and surrounding areas. The association was incorporated in 2010 after previous reunions and celebrations.

The event is about uniting alumni, honoring the school’s history, and supporting community initiatives, including scholarships.

Pastor David Matthews and Dr. Marsha Harris joined Shawn on Good Morning Augusta and shared more about what to expect.
