Tuscaloosa Police Investigate Shooting at Downtown Hotel

Here’s what we know about an ongoing murder investigation in downtown Tuscaloosa.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa police say a man was found dead with a gunshot wound outside a downtown Tuscaloosa hotel Saturday night.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor told Patch that officers were called to a parking lot behind the Embassy Suites Hotel at 9:11 p.m. Saturday night.

The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.
