Mia Jaye Shares Message On Young Dolph’s 39th Birthday

Mia Jaye spent her Saturday (July 27) paying respects to a man she once shared her life and raised a family with. She attended a memorial service for the late Young Dolphwho would have celebrated his 39th birthday today.

In addition to the personal gathering, she posted a message about the loss of the Memphis icon and father of her children. As previously reported, Dolph was shot in November 2021 at a cookie shop he liked in Memphis. An autopsy later revealed that the “Preach” rapper was hit by 22 bullets during the shooting.

How Mia Jaye Honored Young Dolph on His Upcoming 39th Birthday

Atlanta’s Westside Cultural Arts Center hosted a “Spirit Of Dolph Heavenly Birthday Celebration” and Mia Jaye showed up. She wore a white blouse and blue pants in photos with other attendees and artwork by her late fiancé.

Meanwhile, on IG, she shared four photos in a carousel post. The first was a throwback photo of her and Dolph, while the second was a video of the pair getting it on. The third was a video of Dolph enjoying a water slide with their kids, and the last was a family group photo — one of the last the late father of two took.

In her caption, she thanked Young Dolph for their life together and the lessons he taught her before he left.

“Today I will live in gratitude, celebrating and cherishing every memory we have created together in life… thank you for every lesson you have taught us, the sacrifice you have made for us and for the beautiful spirit with which you have graced the world… May we continue to feel your presence through your absence… and may our eternal love reach you where your spirit resides… Happy Heavenly Birthday, my dearest…”

In May, Mia took the same platform to challenge the Memphis justice system, citing her frustration with the delays in the trial for the men charged in connection with Dolph’s murder. The trial was moved from June to September, marking the second delay in the trial.
