Brigade captures the Cowdin Cup

For the fourth consecutive season, the Junction City Brigade has won the Mid Plains League championship. In 10 innings, Junction City defeated the Topeka Warhawks, 12-7, Saturday night in the state capital to claim the Cowdin Cup.

The victory saw the Brigade win the Cowdin Cup championship series 2-0.

This was Junction City’s fourth consecutive league title and eighth overall.
