BERENDT F. Patricia “Patt”, age 96 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 22, 2024. Preceded in death by husband, Robert T. Berendt and brother, Thomas Z. Clements. Survived by children, Kurt and Mary Jo Berendt, Marie and Joe Speltz, Ann and Mike Deasey and Jane and Joel Kozlak; grandchildren, Bob (Viki) Berendt, Nick (Brittany) Berendt, Katie (David) Brooks, Patrick (Lindsey) Speltz, Tom (Maggie) Speltz, Ann (Chad) Deely, Scott (Nikki) Kozlak, Trish (Chase) Polacek, Joe (Margaux) Kozlak, Patrick (Sara) Deasey, Michael (Nicole) Deasey and Shannon (Colin) Pearson; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marion Clements and many nieces and nephews.

Patt was born in Mankato, Minnesota on March 24, 1928. She graduated from Good Counsel High School, attended the College of St. Catherine, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1950.

Patt found joy in her church, volunteer work, traveling the world, playing bridge, her community in Carondelet Village, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 29, at Church of The Nativity of Our Lord, 1938 Stanford Avenue, St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Burial Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. Memorials preferred to Nativity of Our Lord Church of Wishes & More.
