How many perfect scores did she have at Auburn?

At her last Olympics, Suni Lee won the gold medal in the all-around title, along with a silver finish in the team competition and a bronze medal on the uneven bars. And in between her three medals, she simply dominated college gymnastics.

In the years between Lee’s Tokyo Olympics and her upcoming appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lee placed second in the all-around at the 2022 NCAA Championships and first on balance beam while with the Auburn Tigers. She played the entire 2022 season and part of 2023 before ending her season early due to a kidney issue.

She subsequently did not return to Auburn to prepare for Paris.

Just over a year later, Lee was selected for the Olympics along with Simone Biles, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera. He placed second in the all-around, first on the uneven bars, fifth on the balance beam and seventh on the floor exercise at the U.S. Olympic Qualifying Trials.

Suni Lee Perfect 10s at Auburn

One of the most difficult feats in gymnastics is the perfect 10, which Lee accomplished nine times in less than two full seasons at Auburn.

Lee finished the 2022 season with five perfect 10s, three on beam and two on bars. She finished the 2023 season, which she was unable to complete due to illness, with four perfect 10s (two on bars, two on beam).

Lee’s first perfect 10 in 2022 was the Tigers’ first perfect 10 as a program in 18 years, according to her Auburn bio. She then finished the season with four more perfect 10s en route to a second-place finish in the all-around national championship and winning the national beam championship.

In her second and final season at Auburn, Lee earned four perfect 10s, which she did in just eight games before her season was ended prematurely due to kidney problems.
