IMPD investigating shooting near north side

INDIANAPOLIS — Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday morning on the North Side.

IMPD said officers were called to a residence on Boulevard Pl at approximately 7:52 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a victim suffering from injuries consistent with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was then taken to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No suspect has been named at this time. FOX59/CBS4 will update this story as more information becomes available.
