Man dies after two-vehicle crash in Aiken Wednesday at Robert M. Bell

Two vehicles were involved in the crash Wednesday morning on the Robert M. Bell Parkway at Trolley Line Road in Aiken, according to Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables.

One of the drivers was David Emory, 89, who was driving a 1993 Buick sedan. He was taken by ambulance to Wellstar MCG, where he was pronounced dead at 9:50 a.m. Saturday.

The investigation remains ongoing with Ables’ office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol
