The Denver Broncos may have finally found their man.

Since Peyton Manning left Mile High, they have struggled to generate any sort of production at the quarterback position and are hoping Bo Nix can finally put an end to their revolving door.

Sean Payton and his coaching staff were reportedly very fond of him throughout the NFL Draft process, and given his experience at two different college programs, most people assumed he would start right away.

However, the team has yet to announce a starting player, so it’s always possible that won’t be the case.

When asked if he would accept being a reserve, Nix admitted he didn’t have much of a choice (via Andrew Mason).

He claimed that he would have to accept it more or less and that he would not be lax about it.

Still, he knows how hard everyone in the QB room works to earn the starting position, and he adds that they are all mature enough to handle that.

At this point, however, it seems highly unlikely that the Broncos won’t bring him in right away.

There have been a lot of positive reviews written about him during training camp, and it’s not like they have much of a choice at the moment, or better ones.

It won’t be long before Sean Payton announces his starting quarterback. It would be surprising if that starter wasn’t their first pick in the draft.
