An air ambulance was called to the A2 Jubilee Way near Dover after a collision between a car and a motorcycle

A busy stretch of road leading to the Port of Dover has been closed due to an accident.

Traffic is currently backed up in both directions on the A2 Jubilee Way, between the A258 and the junction with the A20.

National Highways has confirmed that the collision involved a car and a motorcycle.

The police are on site and a trauma helicopter is also present.

No further details have been released yet.
