Small balcony fire in Prince George’s County under investigation

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Maryland.DC News Now) — Crews from the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department (PGFD) were battling a fire on a balcony in Adelphi Sunday morning.

Around 10:30 a.m., a small fire broke out on a fourth-floor balcony of a multi-family home at 1826 Metzerott Rd.

The Montgomery County Fire Department also responded to the scene and assisted with extinguishing the fire.

There have been injuries.

According to PGFD, fire investigators arrived on scene to investigate how the fire started.
