The Republican candidate recently gave a speech at a rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where he made the controversial comments.

The Bronx rapper, however, was not happy with his comments, pointing to the tragic death of Sonya Massey. Bodycam footage revealed that the 36-year-old was shot in the face by a white police officer, Sean Grayson, in Springfield, Illinois on July 6. Massey called the police because she feared someone was breaking into her home.

Grayson has since been arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder. He is being held without bail in the Menard County Jail and has pleaded not guilty. His attorney has declined to comment further on the case to AP.

Cardi B wrote on X/Twitter: “AFTER SEEING SONYA MASSEY GETTING MURDERED IN 4K… just wow… he never changed.”

The rapper has been outspoken about her views on the current US presidential race, recently reminding fans that she supported Kamala Harris long before Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

“I think it’s very selfish of Biden to continue running for president,” she says in a series of old clips posted last month. “They should have passed the torch to Kamala. This was the perfect time for her.”

She then pointed to the date the clips were filmed — June 30 — and added, “You guys were told Kamala was supposed to be the 2024 candidate. Y’all trying to play the Bronx education, baby, this is what I do!!! It’s my passion… don’t let my accent fool y’all.”

In other news, Cardi B recently responded to the “clear anticipation” surrounding her upcoming new album, telling fans it will “come out this year.”
