DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy Pony Pride 3.8K road race is back.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy Pony Pride 3.8K road race is back. This year’s race, the 26th annual, is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 at 8 a.m. as part of Foxcroft Academy’s Bicentennial Alumni Weekend and the Dover-Foxcroft Shiretown Homecoming.

The race starts in front of the school and finishes at the finish line on the track. As always, the Pony Pride 3.8K is open to everyone… you don’t have to be a member of the Foxcroft Academy alumni community to run! It’s the perfect course for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

The first mile is at the entrance of Piscataquis Regional YMCA and the final 200 meters finishes on the track at Foxcroft Academy.

Registration begins at 7:00am in the Foxcroft Academy gym lobby.

PONY PRIDE RACE — A field of 28 runners competed in Foxcroft Academy’s 2023 Pony Pride 3.8K as part of Alumni Weekend. This year’s race kicks off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 3.

Entry is by donation and all proceeds benefit the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis and Foxcroft Academy Key Club Back Pack Project, which provides food for children during the school year. Post-race refreshments are sponsored by Edwards Brothers Supermarket.

The men’s and women’s winners will receive a prize, including a gift certificate to Butterfields Ice Cream.
