THIS WEEKEND! Annapolis Rotary’s 79th Annual Crab Fest

The Rotary Club of Annapolis has announced that tickets for the 79th annual event are now on sale.^e Annual Crab Festival, which takes place on Friday, August 2^nd at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.

The Rotary Club is busy preparing to welcome over 1,000 guests to one of the best summer events in Annapolis. As in years past, Rotary invites everyone to join us for an evening of all-you-can-eat crabs, corn on the cob, and other delicacies. The Crab Feast is fun for everyone and is a traditional celebration of summer!

“This year’s Crab Feast, as always, brings back a century-old Annapolis tradition to the city,” said Bob Young, president-elect of the Rotary Club of Annapolis. “A fun, community event that brings out the best of our great city. Still an all-you-can-eat event, so bring your appetite and love of Maryland Blue Crabs. We really encourage you to bring your friends and neighbors to the most important community event of the year, where we always provide the necessary services and support to our entire community.”

“I am very excited and honored to be the chairman of the 79^e “Annual Crab Feast,” said Zach Laurer, Chairman of the 2024 Crab Feast. “After joining the Rotary Club of Annapolis a few years ago, I attended my first Crab Feast in August 2022. I knew I had to be a part of this special event and I am excited to continue the tradition! We have a great team of committee chairs who are the backbone of the Crab Feast and we look forward to hosting another successful community event where all of our proceeds go to many local non-profits. The Crab Feast is a major annual fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Annapolis, with all proceeds donated to local charities and nonprofits. This past summer, $50,000 was raised and distributed through the organization’s Crab Feast Grants Program. Crab Feast tickets and raffle tickets can be purchased online at www.annapolisrotary.org/crabfeast . Early bird pricing is available through Sunday, July 14^e and ticket sales close on Monday July 29^eThere are no tickets available at the gate.
