There will be a lot of power hitting in this match between two very aggressive players. The fast conditions in Washington help that style of tennis. Overall, I trust Pavlyuchenkova to implement her game a bit more consistently. Since her surprising run to the title at the Japan Women’s Open last year, Krueger has struggled to score victories. That makes it a tough call to beat the 2021 French Open runner-up.
