Police investigate alarm at Hartford attorney general’s office

HARTFORD — Police are investigating the activation of a security alarm Sunday at a building that houses several state offices, officials said.

Connecticut State Police said Troop H responded to a security alarm at the State Office Building at 165 Capitol Ave. at 5:11 p.m. They said Hartford police are assisting with the investigation and the building manager has been notified.

According to police, the investigation is still in its early stages and no additional information is yet available.

Notably, 165 Capitol Ave. is home to the offices of the Attorney General and the Secretary of State.
