Springfield Township Explosive Thrown At House Video

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – Detectives are searching for the suspect who threw an explosive device at a home in Springfield Township in Summit County this week.

Springfield Township police shared Blink doorbell camera footage of the incident, which took place in the 3000 block of Avis Road in the Springhill neighborhood, in a Facebook post.

The short video shows someone wearing a mask throwing the device into the yard and running away, before a loud ‘bang’ is heard off-screen.

According to authorities, no injuries were reported.

According to investigators, a rock was also thrown through a window of the same house a few weeks ago.
