Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Harwinton

Connecticut State Police report that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Harwinton Sunday morning.

According to authorities, the incident happened just before noon on Clearview Avenue.

An ambulance was dispatched after reports of possible serious injuries.

One person was taken to hospital.

Clearview Avenue was closed for the investigation.
