The Grigoryan Brothers: This is us

Experience a unique Grigoryan Brothers performance that will stay with you long after the curtains close. This Is Us is a mix of live music and audiovisual graphics, showcasing the brothers’ incredible music alongside a high-definition 3D video projection of objects.

The Grigoryan Brothers’ 18 compositions will traverse jazz, classical and contemporary music, while the exhibits will prompt the audience to reflect on ideas of colonization, migration, innovation and stories of love and loss. This is your chance to see the Grigoryan Brothers as they pose questions about nationality and invite the audience into the conversation.

From powerhouse performer Louisa Mignone (Death of a Salesman, Wentworth, The Twelve) comes a poignant one-woman show that explores the boundaries that divide neighbors and what goes on behind closed doors. The Fence is a compelling story that invites reflection on the arbitrary boundaries within which we live our lives, and the lines that blur—or are crossed—when those fences come down.

Written by prolific playwright Fleur Murphy (Nothing, Hearth), The Fence will keep you on the edge of your seat, daring you to watch when you know you shouldn’t, and captivating you until you can’t look away.

MZAZA: The Birth of Death and Stars

Moonee Ponds opens the door to another universe with MZAZA’s show The Birth of Death and Stars in October. The performance brings MZAZA’s eponymous album to life with a showcase of music and theatre that will take you out of this world.

MZAZA brings to life an odyssey of intergalactic proportions through animation, performance and colour. The show traverses the universe and transcends language to reflect human existence and human connectedness in our exciting world.

Late, Late at Night: The Story of Rick Springfield

The Western Suburbs’ own slice of Rick Springfield comes to life on the Clocktower stage in this reimagining of his life and the cherished music that underscored it all. For Springfield fans and everyone in between, Late, Late at Night is a chance to hear the rock legend’s discography performed live by rising Sydney star Jackson Carroll.

Award-winning Australian playwright Kieran Carroll celebrates and interprets the story of this icon, paying tribute to one of Australia’s most beloved musicians with a show that will have you singing along to Springfield’s greatest hits.

Damien Leith: Irish Classics

It’s no secret that Australians love Irish music. If you’re looking for some good old craic and classic Irish tunes this October, Moonee Ponds has you covered with a performance by the legendary Damien Leith in the Clocktower.

Featuring a traditional Irish band, this sing-along session with Damien Leith makes for the perfect Sunday evening of memories and fellowship through song. As with any good Irish-inspired performance, you’ll be sure to jump out of your seat and sing along to the beloved songs of the Irish motherland.
