Two Sheffield men charged after residents in seaside town were threatened with gun

Two men from Sheffield have been charged after a robbery in which residents were threatened with a weapon.

Police were called to a house in Margate, Kent at around 3.40am Wednesday July 24 after reports of three men Three men entered a home in St Paul’s Road, Cliftonville, and threatened two residents.

The residents were reportedly asked to give money. One man was reportedly attacked. One man was taken to hospital after the incident. He has since been discharged.

Ahmed Musa, of Britnall Street, Sheffield, and Gadalsed Frahna, of Deer Park View, Sheffield, were each charged on Friday, July 26, with robbery, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an offensive weapon.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Following an investigation by Kent Police working alongside South Yorkshire Police, two men were arrested and later charged in connection with the incident.

“Mr Musa, 26, and Mr Frahna, 28, were due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court later that day.”
