Deer Park in Newark named to USA TODAY list of best bars in the US

Deer Park Tavern in Newark made USA TODAY’s list of best bars in the country.

The USA TODAY Bars of the Year 2024 list, released today, features 27 bars from dives to high-end cocktail bars.

“We try to show Delaware’s history on our walls,” said Rob Dawson, general manager of the Deer Park Tavern that’s popular with University of Delaware students and local residents. He said the staff also strives “to put the best food out.”.
